Friday Walkers

Meets every Friday at 9:30 AM, rain or shine.

Swans Friday Walking Group

We walk every Friday, rain or shine, starting at 9:30.  However, in the event of unsafe walking conditions (e.g. snow, ice, high winds) the leader may choose to cancel the walk.  Walks are generally 75 to 90 minutes in duration.  A schedule for upcoming walks is provided once a month, and a reminder is sent out on the Thursday prior to the walk the following day.  Details such as the degree of elevation (e.g. flat, hilly) and walking surface (e.g. trail, pavement) are provided in these communications, along with the location for coffee and the timing (e.g. mid-walk, post-walk).  The leader’s cell phone number is also provided.  Please note that dogs are not permitted on the walks. Members are encouraged to share the duty of leading the walks, and an attempt is made to vary the locations.  Anyone wishing to bring a friend should contact the leader who will provide a waiver form to be signed at the start of the walk.  Members who are not able to walk are encouraged to join the group for coffee.  Our goal is to exercise and socialize!

Monday Golf

This group plays 9 holes at Highland Pacific Golf Course every Monday – generally in the afternoon but in the summer early morning tee times are available as well. It is a challenging course and more suitable for experienced players. Our goals are enjoying golf, camaraderie and coffee afterwards.


Sunday Hiking

Meets 4th Sunday of each month.
